ICS in June!

I think ever since that ICS image leaked for the Virgin mobile version of the Evo 3D about a month ago, devs have been able to get to hack it up and get the 3D camera, WiMax, etc working on their ROMs. I don't know for sure, since I'm not rooted (yet), but ever since then I've been seeing claims of ICS ROMs with everything working.

Can someone more knowledgable confirm?

Yes, almost every ICS ROM based off of the Virgin Mobile leak has everything working. Most have since day one of the leak.

Only Aosp roms are having trouble with 4g minus Swagstr's version of meanrom. It's as close to Aosp as you can get right now with everything functional.

I am loving CleanRom ICS so much. The battery is my fav thing this thing does not use it. My GF was so damn envious that I had to root hers and install the rom. She can now leave the phone over night with only a 6% battery loss instead of almost being dead.

It has been quiet here. We are in the last week of June. Has anyone heard anything new about the Ics update? I am one who kept saying it comes when it comes but now I must say this is starting to get a bit ridiculous.

Over at XDA, a post with a chat with a Sprint rep is looking more like July. Not thrilled, but at least they didn't say its not coming.

meh, it comes when it comes. It'll probably bring bugs and issues anyway and my phone is plenyly stable at the moment. Does anyone know if we're getting better camera software?

When I was getting a replacement EVO3D at the Sprint Store a week or so ago, one rep told me probably mid-July for ICS and another just laughed and said it's never coming.

I think mid-July is probably about right... but, we'll see. Not holding my breath.

The last time I asked HTC on Twitter they stated it was still coming. And most Sprint store reps are fools.

To be fair, the UK carriers approval process is different that Sprint. Mid July might still be the window.
