Ics official release today.

If our wasn't for unlimited data i would have already left sprint, but i know of we don't get ics soon or lte where i live I'm gonna be making a switch to Verizon. That galaxy s3 looks sweet and one of my relatives has it and it downloads at about 25 megabytes a sec

Stuent from my LG Viper on the slowest network in existence..

The only thing that is keeping me with Sprint is unlimited data, last month my wife and I used 13Gb!!!

Tmobile does unlimited data now as well and a hell of a lot cheaper too. I know they dont have LTE but you may give them a look.

I've looked. One of the guys I work with has them he gets hit and miss service while working but none at home. So not a viable provider in my area.

I understand completely. In my area we have very good tmobile coverage so that is the only reason i suggested them. Im not sure how the coverage is outside of kansas/missouri but here its pretty good.

The unlimited tmobile plan wouldn't work for me since I tether and they claim to be able to tell when you are tethering. They'd kick me off right away :p

I don't know if this will help anyone still trying to compile this but there are 3 ics releases on the lg open source website ending in letters g, h, and I. Have all three been compiled and tested yet? Or are they all a waste?

I have tried compiling with all three, but my build environment is not correct because it will not make the image files at the end. Also, just to add to it, i took all three, merged all of them together starting with g going to i so that i would overwrite any duplicate files. Maybe someone could try that out. Another piece, i know there was someone on here not too long back that compiled g and got the image files. If this person could do that again i might be able to do something with it.

Only thing we can do is wait and see if Sprint gets it pushed. Not really anything we can do till then.....

I tried the *#*#checkin#*#* code, and it still couldn't find an update, so I don't think it's coming.
