ICS ...or RMA XYBoard 8.2 wifi

Tired of being lied to by Motorola. all over the site they claim ICS is out for XyBoard 8.2. Even the support pages:

And new schedule does not even list XYBoard 8.2?!?

ENOUGH! Give me ICS ...or give me RMA for refund!

All XYBoard owners: Go on chat and demand: " ICS or RMA !" Ask for manager. Do not accept "No". Escalate. Their choice. ICS or RMA.

Well, Moto pulled the support webpage that say 4.0.4 was released for the XYB 8.2 wifi on August 13, 2012. No other update news there. MZ607 still not on the new update schedule.

But...how about some salt on the wound. Verizon announced ICS release for the Droid XYB 8.2. Lucky them.

Been pursuing this for a couple of weeks now. Spent several days on chat and the phone with 9 Moto support people. I was told I cannot return the tablet because it is beyond the 30 days since purchase. I counter that they are engaged in false advertising because they say the device uses ICS, and have for months said that ICS was released for this device, but it is not being made available. Finally was transferred to a corporate "customer advocate" representative. She promised to get back with me in a day after again explaining the situation and lack of Motorola response. Nothing back until a week later, and she left a message while I was driving. I have called her office again several times but no response.

Hopefully she will follow up this week. Frustrating.
