If I am enrolled in the beta

I don't dislike my 6P, or Android really, I've had tablets for years, and have dabbled a little in the SDK, but I have to say, at least I (almost) always knew how the builds were rolling out with my Win phones.
Maybe it's just because I knew exactly how the updates and all worked, whereas I really only have a "surface" understanding on Android (I could probably diagram out most of the Win process).
Anyway, learning seat-of-pants is always interesting, I should probably crack some of those SDK docs and other, and see what's really under-the-covers ;-]
I do miss being one of those "in the know" people on those forums though, I really should dig-in, and at least understand more than the 1000ft level...
And apparently I have to watch my "back button" in these forums too, now I managed to double-post, instead of edit, ugh.

Yeah, that's strange to me too, I never got the November update, but I was quite clearly enrolled in the Beta, and running 7.1.1, but I got "stuck" on the original 7.1.1 build (pretty sure anyway, I never saw the date change, but I didn't always watch my build #s).

My build is NPF26F (dated Nov. 5)

Yeah, I never got that drop, weird, eh? I wonder if it goes back to the AT&T thing, but that would only be a factor if they checked somehow, when pushing OTA?
When I enrolled in 7.1.1 Beta, I got the build instantly, a few minutes, OTA.
I thought about sideloading, and then decided to just wait, since I didn't want to wipe my device, and I knew RTM was coming around the start of this month.

Same for me.

Strangely, the RTM build is NMF26F, which is actually a lower build number, and the RTM OTA update was compiled November 1st while the beta build was compiled November 11th I think. The RTM has December patch, the beta doesn't...but the beta is a newer build and was compiled more than a week later. I'm pretty confused by that.

I am on Verizon (probably worse than AT&T about updates) I guess I am in the minority because I don't really care about updates. If you are satisfied with how things operate on your phone, why take a chance on screwing it up with a bad update. I have a 2013 "top of the line" Samsung tablet, & have NEVER got any updates, still running. 4.4.2 - I think it still runs perfect; the battery life is gradually getting worse, but still can use for 7+ hrs. That is my choice for surfing the net if I am not on my PC (like now).
