if i turn my private number off will the people i have phoned previously be able to see my number?

I have a samsung galaxy S4 mini and I have recently called somebody whilst changing my call settings to private and was wondering if I turned this off will the person I called see my number on their call log or will it still come up as 'private number'?

What happened before won't change. Your number will only show as private for future calls.

Normally, if the number display is set to private, the receiver should not be able to see your number.

but to be extra sure, you can always use the #31# before entering their number guarantees that they won't see your number
