Re: pics on sd and internal??

sdcard is the internal storage. extSdCard is the external card. (In Linux [the operating system on Android phones] terms, internal storage is sd0, external storage is sd1. In older phones there was no internal "sd card", so sd0 referred to the external card. Apps that haven't been rewritten to take that into account store on the internal "card".)

No most goes to SD card or what you tell it too. I have a 32 gb memory card 25gb is full of music, pics, and move able apps.

Most of what's installed as a system application will always be in the internal storage and not the sd card.
You can move some things to the sd card but not all. Any new applications you install will let you know if you can move it to the sd card, just check the app in question in app settings and look for "move to sd".
You will never have empty internal storage.
