Yea i must agree. I would rather buy at VZ. Only reason im not is im paying full retail so i need the discount. BB doesn't offer more of an advantage. Especially if your paying retail since we mark UP our phones lol. Damn i just made us sound horrible lmao

Na...if people knew how much BBY marked up stuff they would die. I used to work there a few years back before I was really into tech and all and I shoot myself in the foot everyday now wishing I had those huge discounts *sigh* I remember the days when I got monster cables for $5 lol

Yes. Even if the BB sales person doesn't know how to add this, just call up *611 and Verizon will add their (Assurion) insurance to your phone.

As long as they have it by the 28th. I'm really counting on the 24th though..(fingers crossed) Just sold my DXand will be using my old BB..:'( until the TBolt arrives.

For several reasons this makes no sense....

ALL corporate stores do 1 year contracts, 2 year contracts and month to month service.

This has re-seller written all over it. indirect, not coporate, they play by a different set of rules, sometimes good, sometimes not so good.

I found out you were corrected. I walked into a what they call "premium retailer" which is not a corporate. I actually called a corporate store which disapproved everything the retail store told me. The corporate store rep told me that premium retailer stores will same but will have under their sign premium retailer or something along those lines. The corporate rep admitted that it is misleading but could not speak on the retailers behalf. Those the rep assured me every corporate store still does the 1 year contract as well the 10 month upgrade.

I walked into a local Verizon store to ask for discount I get from work and to my surprise they had ton's of HTC Thunderbolt ads. They also had a display demo of HTC Thunderbolt. I got to talking to the rep and found out to my surprise that Verizon stores don't do 1 year contracts but as well no phone upgrade on 1 year contract. (SORRY IF THIS OLD NEWS) Furthermore when a 1 year contract is up you can't transfer your phone number to the next contract. However they were taking in store pre-orders which is 100 dollar deposit yet to find out if the 100 dollars is refundable. Lastly you can take this as grain of salt but they said 4G will be unlimited for $30 and the phone may not cost $250.


P.S (All stores may not be doing pre-orders)

Unfortunately sorry for the mistake this happen at a "premium retail store not a CORPORATE store.
