Yeah, I just noticed that, as well. What's next? "SOME US and Australian orders might ship someday soon, perhaps." ??

I'm bummed, too, I was looking forward to playing with it this weekend, and that looks unlikely now. I absolutely want it by next weekend, as I'm on vaca for a week and that would be the perfect time for a little Nexus geekery.

That said, I am a little surprised at how much people are up in arms about this. Certainly this hasn't been the best shopping experience, I definitely expected better from Google. And, you know the Cupertino crew is laughing their butts off right now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a little something extra beyond the $25 credit in order to get some good will back. A free case, maybe? Some Google Drive space to compensate for the (relatively) limited storage? I dunno.

What I do know is this, though. It's just a product.

It really doesn't warrant the level of vitriol that is being spewed around the intertubes. It's just a product. And, it will arrive. And, you are no more or less cool if it arrives today or tomorrow or next Wednesday. You are less cool, though, the more you whine.

i will have exactly a week to use it before i can't anymore, while i don't want to go into details. Every day i'm delayed is a day less i can actually enjoy it. it will the last joy i have for 4 years, so go tell me why i shouldn't whine, you don't know everyone's situations.

You're right, I don't know everyone's situations, and I am sorry for both your deferred joy and whatever circumstance put you in that situation. Whine away.

But, you are not 1450 pages of whining at XDA, you're one person with one specific use case, with one specific reason to be disappointed. I'm sure you can understand that my comments were intended to the vast, vast majority of people posting today who are not in your life circumstance and who are, honestly, just whining about a delivery delay that will make no difference in their quality of life whatsoever (aside from how they are decreasing it by getting all worked up waiting for their N7).

I couldnt agree more. And as for me, as each day is passing by, the excitement is diminishing. I start thinking "286 bucks.. i can use that for something else."

btw, below is my call with the CSR and my answer to the thread.

I was hold on for 1 hours and 18 minutes. I got through. According to the rep, he said that due to the high volume of orders in first two days and first week of July, they working on processing them all.

When I asked him as to why the newer orders after mine are already sent, he has no answer. He kept on mentioning the high volume to me though, so im under the impression that after the 1st week, the volume isnt as high. (I call BS on this.)

He did mention that my order is still in the system and that i SHOULD get an email confirmation by the end of tonight and tomorrow when its shipped, I should get charge and get it by Friday. If not, then its back to the waiting for me.

I understand. I would rather waste my time on something and somewhere else but at this moment, I rather be here at home on my computer resting for my graveyard shift and digging up information i can use or find when my nexus arrives.

I called to check up on my order status. an hour and fifteen minute wait is pretty long, but at least you know you get a word on your order. Its that little nudge to get their google folks working.

HOUR AND FIFTEEN?! Wow man, you got some patience, I cant stand being on hold for that long haha, but I actually just got my nexus from staples and ill just refuse shipment on the google on...no biggie.
