If there is no unlimited data

If 4G pricing is not unlimted will you still be getting the T-Bolt?

I would like to tether mine to my laptop. 3G tethering gets the job done but definitely not an enjoyable task. Since CES I've had this in mind and downloaded bitmeter from Codebox Software - BitMeter II to see how much data im burning through. I was actually surprised by how little I was using. Definitely worth the download if you're interested in tethering.

I would pay an extra $10-$15 per month as long as it didn't change my unlimited 3g plan. I think most of the time people will need to toggle 4G off to conserve battery life. I just want the extra speed for when I need to teather.

I burn thorough a decent amount of data on wifi which I'm on all day aside from driving to and from work. I guess if someone doesn't have wifi I can see how it'd be very easy to eat up that much data. Tether must suck data, I don't tether so I don't have a clue. How's your battery on the EVO with that much use?

I usually have my phone plugged in at my desk.
However, last week I updated my PRL and Profile
Settings. I noticed once I locked into cell towers, nearer
To my home? My battery life went up dramatically. So ido a test. I in plugged my phone at 7 am and went to work.

I tried to minimize my usage and not plug in the phone.
Anyways at about 5 when I got home the battery was at 41 %.

Which actually surprised me. But still not up to par compares.to my former phone a black berry curve. Which I didn't charge for at least 2 days at a time.

I know some were worried about being forced to switch data plans if they upgraded their phone, etc, but according to this person that is not the case (I specifically asked about buying a new phone at the upgrade price, etc). Take it for what it's worth.

If the phone requires a tiered data plan, buying the phone is accepting the charges required for that phone. In short, if you want the phone, you have to pay the extra data charges, if there are any.

It's no different from switching from a regular handset to a smartphone. If you get the smartphone, you cannot keep your $10 data plan.
