I will stick with the Evo, I like the idea of an open OS, not a walled garden.

OSX = yes
Iphone OS = no thank you

I kind of doubt this anyway, isn't ATT's exclusive deal running till 2011 or something? Any I would think Apple would want to jump onto LTE, not WiMax.

Yeah, who wants a free and open Android phone when we can be chained to Lord Jobs locked-down, walled garden phone where everything you get is what he decides you're worthy of - subject to change at whim?

Pass.

I think he will go with Sprint since Android out sold iPhone (about time) and this is his way to kind of stick it to HTC, plus AT&T sucks and tons of complaints. When it comes to open source Android is way better but how about over all comparasine of the 2 phones, it be great to give Sprint customers a choice.

Not shooting the messenger(OP), but really, a BB employee as the source for contract negotions between ATT and Apple? Really...Really? lol

Who knows the truth here, but it is just some food for thought. It be nice to have a choice. I read somewhere that Apple approached Sprint but they didnt agree on Sprint TV, but now they made up. I think Apple will do what ever it takes to be #1, plus to many complaints by AT&T customers. If he goes to Sprint he will make over 7 Billion dollars and that is a nice number.

What about this for thought, iphone HD will be for AT&T(maybe) and iPhone 4G for Sprint, how about that? Just something to think about.

I've been seeing these rumors flying around for months now. Only time will tell whats really true. iphone can be an easy phone for some people to use. Not as open as an Android but some do need the phone to be easy as it can (Almost all Andriod phones are called smart phone but iphone are call ipods think about that). It would be good for apple to sell the iphone on more then one carrier. I do think the apple can be that greedy. I almost went to att for a iphone earlier this year but did my home work and think the Android is more my style any way. If the iphone did show up on another carrier its still wont beat the Android.

If I were to jump from ATT to Sprint then I would go with the EVO. My wife has a iphone 3g and I have a rooted Nexus 1, guess such one I prefer.

Personally, I had an Ipod Touch. Got kind of bored of the Iphone OS moved onto WebOS. Now I am going to give Android a try. We shall see if I enjoy Android.
