If true, are you still interested in this phone at $830?

But I'm not going to spend that much on a device that gets wrecked with slightest expostition to moisture (I've heard one LG V20 used for testing got broken like this).
The reports I read was the tester was using it in the rain. Well duh, of course you're risking sensitive electronic devices being damaged when they aren't designed for water resistance. If the phone was water resistant but still got damaged, ok then we'd have something to discuss.

I do and love my Note

There's now stories I'm reading on the Note 7 section that there may be yet another issue with the replacements UGH

If there's a 2nd recall then I'm done and bouncing !

Hear, hear; even though my New Note7 is better than any device I've owned and that my perception is that it's very stable and exhibits no unusual behavior through thirteen days. Bounce I will.

No.

My V10 was $670 from Verizon back in Dec 2015, and at the time they were giving away extra batteries, charge cradle or 256MB SD cards. $830 for the phone by itself is absurd. If they start running promotions or trade-ins for my V10 I might be more interested... but I doubt it.

I am also waiting to see if this one suffers from the LG bootloop.

Bounce I will.

And a bounce WE will

I have the V10 which I love Especially for the DAC. The same exact DAC in the V20 goes for $450 bought separately for the PC. So I have no problem with the premium pricing.

Sucks for people like me who don't care about all that audio stuff since I'll be using BT anyway. I just wanted an upgraded phone with a bigger screen and modern processor.

I was on board, but the combination of the delay, and the fact that I just played with Pixel XL for about 15 minutes have swung me over, and I'll probably be ordering the Black XL

There will always be a market for the Latest and Greatest, but those numbers are shrinking and for people that love to change phones often like me.. buying and selling a $300 phone is easier then trying to recoup $800

Definitely won't pay more than $700, so the only way I'll get it is if I win one, catch one on sale or wait until the price drops.
