If true, are you still interested in this phone at $830?

But I'm not going to spend that much on a device that gets wrecked with slightest expostition to moisture (I've heard one LG V20 used for testing got broken like this).

The reports I read was the tester was using it in the rain. Well duh, of course you're risking sensitive electronic devices being damaged when they aren't designed for water resistance. If the phone was water resistant but still got damaged, ok then we'd have something to discuss.

My V10 was $670 from Verizon back in Dec 2015, and at the time they were giving away extra batteries, charge cradle or 256MB SD cards. $830 for the phone by itself is absurd. If they start running promotions or trade-ins for my V10 I might be more interested... but I doubt it.

I am also waiting to see if this one suffers from the LG bootloop.

I have the V10 which I love Especially for the DAC. The same exact DAC in the V20 goes for $450 bought separately for the PC. So I have no problem with the premium pricing.

The v10 was around $700 on AT&T, $672 on Verizon and $599 on T-Mobile. I'm assuming the v20 will also be a good amount cheaper on T-Mobile, which works out well for me! So glad I left Verizon lol

Sucks for people like me who don't care about all that audio stuff since I'll be using BT anyway. I just wanted an upgraded phone with a bigger screen and modern processor.

There will always be a market for the Latest and Greatest, but those numbers are shrinking and for people that love to change phones often like me.. buying and selling a $300 phone is easier then trying to recoup $800

In V6Hawk thread he stated that the LG rep told him that the T-mobile version should be $650.

If you this is true, then I'm getting the lg v20 but if its $830 then it's nexus 6p.
