Today my g/f and I went to a Best Buy to get it price matched and they only wanted to price match my Blue S3 and not my g/f's White S3 because the Radioshack they called didn't have any White ones in stock. So, I asked if they could call others around the area to see if they had any White ones in stock and the CSR informed me they could only call the Radioshack closest to their store. I asked for the manager and he came along saying that they could only call the nearest competing store within 10 miles. I asked them to show me this 10 mile policy and he said there were not any written policies but did tell me I could call Corporate and get the details there. I was not happy with this guys managerial skills as he was not helpful at all and rude on top of it. I asked for the Corporate number and his name. My girlfriend calls Corporate while we were in the store and the Corporate rep said the manager was incorrect and should be complying with a 25 mile radius and not a 10 mile radius. Corporate wanted to speak to the manager via my g/f's S3, CSR's attempted to get a hold of him but he did not want to come over and do the override himself and instead told the CSRs to "Just do it" over the walkie talkie when he heard that Corporate wanted to speak to him. Of course, the CSRs couldn't do the override and needed him to come over to punch in the override pin that he only knew. He came over, punched in the pin, kind of apologized and was in and out under 3 seconds. He couldn't get out of there quicker. At the end, myself and my g/f both got back $88 and change each because of the price match. Success!
