We all know of the signal issues some of us have had with the Nexus. VZW even knows there are issues. Not all the phones are bad though. I went back to Best Buy and swapped for my third Nexus, and I have a winner this time, and it's even better than it was on 4.0.2. I'm having (and keeping) a strong 4g signal. Also, check out the screen shot. It's been 2-3% without signal. My two other phones were anywhere between 38-65%.

So just keep swapping (phone and SIM both) until you get a good phone. There are good ones out there, just be persistent. My Razr Maxx is back in the desk drawer for now and I couldn't be happier with the Nexus.

The thing I noticed with this phone is, it's very anal about signal strength. If the signal isn't good, it will show it in the dBm or signal bars. The iphone will show 3-4 bars but just perform bad. I'm just wondering if the phone detects bad signal faster.
