So like I said I'm coming over from the LG Optimus V forum section. I'm extremely curious about getting an HTC Thunderbolt 4G.

I also have a few questions for the users of Thunderbolt 4G. Can you use wifi without activating the service? Does it really come with 8gb of internal storage? Can the front facing camera record video in landscape mode?

Can you use wifi without activating the service?

Yes you can use any phone on WIFI only even if its not activated on your account. I use my old Sprint Nexus S 4G on WIFI only for the kids. Its no longer active on my account and I still log into Google via WIFI with my existing Google account and download apps/games to the device for them to play.
