I'm using smartswitch to backup my s6. How do i view my photos?

All I want to do is put my photos on to my pc hard drive. Iv tried Keis and smart switch. I just don't get it. Used to be so easy with previous phones. Just connect to pc and options came up.
Now have to call samsung helpline and I still can't do it.
It says it's backed up but where the **** do i find my photos?
I can't find them on the pc.
This is madness, will not buy Samsung again unless it disspenses ice!

If you used Smart Switch, you should be able to see them in the back up folder from the app, but if you don't know where that is, just open the app, go to Preferences, select the back up file you want to view, click Details and make sure you DID back up Pictures in that back up. There should be a button that says 'View Backup Folder', where all your files and pictures should be available.
