Images Keep Duplicating

[Android Central Question]

My Samsung Galaxy Tab A just had a major update to Android 7.1.1 and now my gallery is messed up. When i use the new default gallery app (orange box with a stylized flower) when i move an image to the albums i made on an SD card it moves the image but then creates a duplicate in the gallery on the device. This is of course very annoying and filling up my device's memory. Never did this till it updated. And suggestions?
