Incoming calls going straight to VMail?

There is a setting somewhere (I haven't checked where) that makes people have to call you twice to make the phone ring, its a privacy thing it may not be the phone or the carrier

I had this problem. And it was the SIM card going bad. The weird thing was LTE, SMS and outgoing was working just fine, incoming just went to VM. Put the new SIM in, and bam everything work.

Sometimes it isn't the actual phone going bad.

Hope this helps a few of you with your phone not ringing. After plenty of troubleshooting I finally called tech support & they were very helpful. After discussing all of my troubleshooting they decided to just reset the SIM card & voila, worked like a charm. Apparently while traveling the phone pings off of different towers. Once in awhile it will get stuck on a tower & when you arrive at your destination it cannot lock on to the new, closest tower. Resetting the card is all it took. They are mailing me a new SIM card free of charge in case it happens again. My phone is a Droid Razor Maxx & I have had it for two years. Works beautifully but I am good for an upgrade & hubby has the Galaxy 5 which has a much better camera. In fact, it takes great pics so I may have to get a new Galaxy 6 in the near future.
