Infinity Watch Face

Hello,

I just changed my watch over to a white strap today and came up with 2 suggestions that may make the watch face better,

1. using a white watch strap i decided it would be nice to put a white background on the watch face to match the strap, however doing this meant that the 3 circles ( clock , date and battery ) disappeared because they were also the same white color, so hopefully making them a slightly different shade may look better.

2. in the future when the icons become customizable, it would be nice if the alarm can be accessed when pressing the time and the calender when pressing the date , this way the 2 circles that are currently used for alarm and calendar can be freed up so they can be used for other things that people have downloaded.

After clicking battery icon if you long press on "charging no" it let's you change clock face. Easter egg?

Hi Kieso,

on your phone go to the samsung gear App, select home screen styler, then click on the wallpapers tab, then click on more images, that will take you to your gallery on your phone where you can choose any picture you have on your phone and set it as a background, hope that helps

Do what unusb says, and then in the infinity watch settings, pick the transparent background.

Found a bug. I cannot check heart rate or do anything in s health. It will track my steps. Seems like the individual section crashes (heart rate, uv sensor etc). Same thing happens when trying to change the clock away from yours. After I got it to change without crashing those issues went away using a different clock.

That's new. Heart rate and s health is giving me no problems. When in doubt restart the device

Just bought this watchface today, really hoping the dev is working on changing some of the circles. Thanks for the hard work, I personally would like shortcuts for shealth (and show steps) and Milk.

Custom app shortcuts are supposed to be coming in the next update

Any updates on custom apps? I use GMail for email instead of the native Samsung app and it wants me to create an account every time I hit the Email icon. Same w the sms app not allowing the use of Hangouts.

Textra already supports the Gear S. You can reply from the watch and everything.

I think they meant add Textra as one to change an icon to per the developers request closer to the start of this thread.
If not, updating Android Web Service fixes the bug between Textra and the watch for getting notifications via Gear Notification Extender, which wasn't working on phones that'd just updated to lollipop until that bloatware app gets an additional update installed.
