I don't know where you can find a true list of what is what, however google voice search will do just about anything that Apple's siri will do. At least for the things I use it for. It will call people from your contacts, but that's boring. Say 'call the nearest Pizza Hut' or 'directions to the nearest redbox' or 'open my calendar to May 10th', not sure if it will add things to your calendar, but it might. I just haven't tried it. You can ask it to search a word or for info from the net, and it will google it. It won't give you an answer, like 'how many harry potter books are there?', but it will show you the google results that you would get if you typed it in by hand. About the only thing I've found that it won't do is talk back, and really do we need it to talk to back? I don't. Not sure how you feel? It will also open apps, dial numbers you read (614 827...., and probably more stuff that I haven't tried yet. Although unlike simple voice commands, that I remember from other phones, it needs some type of network for the TTS to work. I've never used simple voice commands on any of my smart phones, so I don't even know how to open, start, or find it? Now I will say that if you open it (pressing the data field not the mic) and press menu there is an option to select the searchable items. You can make it as expansive as you like or as narrow. I remember having to add a few things to get certain functions, not sure what those were, or what was default. If you don't find the answer to your question try this.
