I don't remember the sequence of key presses. I found it at the forum at verizon wireless page on the discussion about the ICS update.

How is it that some got overclocked and some didn't? Root?

When the phone boots up the first time after the update, it checks your phone (either a script or looking at the cpu revision....no one really knows for sure) and determines if it's capable of a 1.2 overclock. If not, you get stuck at 1.0.

This is gonna sound like a stupid gripe, but I'm kinda bummed that the range of sizes for the stickynote widget has decreased some. I used to have alot of notes on my homescreen, but now I just don't really have the space for them anymore.
I was really hoping that would change from the leaks to the official build, but oh well.

I don't call 1.2 GHz to be overclocked, considering that's the speed of the Razr even on GB and they have the same processor from what I've found. I say that the Bionic was underclocked if it's at 1 GHz. Whether that's correct terminology or not, I don't care. I know what the proc is capable of and I got the higher clock speed. ;)

Sorry. I can't seem to find and answer to this anywhere. Can i root after taking the ota or should i do it before. I fxz back to 905 and am no longer rooted. I am currently downloading the ota. Would appreciate your input.
