Likes.. Camera is very sharp and takes excellent pictures.
Great screen quality via the Amoled and movies look super crisp.
Battery life is really nice. It's a 1750mAh
Screen seems bigger than 4.5, especially when compared to my Inspire.
Fits well in my pocket.
Very responsive touch screen.

Dislikes. The battery cover. It is super thin and just pops into place. Wish it was more like the captivate.
The samsung interface (luckily can be changed). I'm not big on side scrolling menus. I like the inspires stock menu system.

Toss up: how light the phone is. Sometimes I forget it's even in my pocket, or it feels like a toy. Other times it just seems to be right. Hard to explain.

Great to know. I've been looking on a followup on this phone its just hard since it doesnt come out here til the 15th. Looking to buy my first android and this phone may be it. This, Inspire, Atrix, I honestly dont know although I'm leaning towards this one. Decisions decisions...

Yeah, its not out until the 15th. Just got an advanced copy.. lol

Well, if the flimsy battery cover is one of two dislikes, I think we're off to a good start! Assuming it is manufactured, I plan to get an Otterbox Commuter for the device, which will lock everything in place anyway! As for TouchWiz being less than ideal, I guess that's a given... and one that can be pretty easily corrected.

What do you think about the size? Does it feel too big to be a practical phone, or that's not an issue at all? That is my biggest concern... that we're getting into tablet-size territory with this bad boy.

Anyway, congrats!

not to insult you, but did you by any chance shoot those from the ipad 2?

Can someone chime in on Touchwiz and their personal opinion? Ive heard mixed reviews. How can Touchwiz be "easily corrected"?

wow! i feeling both appreciative and envious, at the same time. thank you for posting up your opinion of the device. i am jealous, though, the closest i've been able to get to one is - i held a dummy demo :D which was a little helpful, as far as deciding how turned off by the use of plastic i am. it did feel sturdier than i would have imagined.

that's where i'm at with this, right now. i'm really impressed with the device's spec's, but i'm cautious of the build quality. i know it burries the Inspire, feature/spec. wise, but (having both) how do YOU feel about the difference in hardware quality between the two devices?

i will say that those pix taken with the Inspire have me leaning HARD towards the Infuse lol.

I like the Infuse better. It seems like an awesome phone and most likely, the best Android device on AT&T. The screen looks beautiful and huge. I would love to get my hands on one. Just to see how it will compare to my iPhone 4. It should be a multimedia powerhouse.

The inspire takes great pictures in NORMAL light, but as you see in low light levels it leaves a lot to be desired.

Build wise, I think the inspire feels like it's better quality than the infuse.

if you could only have one, which one would it be?

Probably the infuse. But for small reasons.. Front and back camera, better specs and classes of speeds, longer battery.

worth the extra $100?

actually, right now, i have to decide if it's worth the extra $170  one of the stores, i don't know HOW, is selling it for $29.95 (with 2 yr contract) and they'll let me keep my $30/unlimited data plan that i'm G-pa'd in on. THAT'S tempting. i could get a lot of other cool things with an extra $170

this is what my "Pro" list is looking like, maybe Dilrod can lemme know if i'm missing anything

Inspire = AWESOME price, sturdier materials, better UI
Infuse = better display, longer battery, front facing cam, faster CPU, more built in memory, HDMI out

the biggest, to me, are the display and the extra battery life.

i'm starting to justify the plastic body with the whole - it's gonna be in a case, anyway :D

Plan on picking up the infuse tomorrow. This will be my first android phone. I have had iPhone 3G and 4, but ready for a change.
