Insanely great battery life on the V20?

I cannot complain. I take my phone off the charger at 3AM and the V20 lasts me all the way until 8PM. I usually only use the phone for web browsing and the Android and Windows Central apps. Slight picture taking as I havent had a day to really push the camera yet. Havent played any games yet on the V20. I listen to podcasts as well through the hifi DAC. Edit: oh yeah and about 30 minutes to an hour of YouTube.

Dang, look at all your apps on the notification bar lol. You are definitely a heavy user. I'm very OCD and would like to close all those apps.

I uninstalled Facebook and Facebook Messenger. I currently have Folio installed use that to browse and chat on Facebook. Works great and better for the battery and RAM. I still have Instagram and Snapchat installed though.

I'm trying out Swipe for Facebook right now.. Pretty cool

Lol I didnt even see that until you mentioned it. I wouldn't say I'm a heavy user but I do let my notifications pile up sometimes. I like seeing everything up at the top.

Wow how is that? I don't have Facebook and Instagram installed so thst makes a dofference. Also the only day I had bad battery life is when there was something wrong with my internet connection which I had to go to T-Mobile about. Other than that I haven't had less that 4.5 and averaging close to 6 a day. What's your usage?

Don't even have Facebook. Just my Gmail account. Normal usage. Few YouTube videos. Mostly web browsing this forums. News, text etc. Really disappointed.
Have factory reset it 3 times already.

Wow thats crazy. Dont know what else to tell you. The V20 lasts me from 3AM to 7-8PM with about 5-6 hours SOT consistently at least for the first week. I'll have to see how this week goes.

Yeah I don't know how you guys are getting such great battery life, I even started a thread seeing if my battery life was abnormal or not. I barely crack the 3 hour Screen on time mark, and my battery lasts anywhere from 8-14 hours depending on how I use my 'screen on' time. I've even tried various different Facebook wrappers to seemingly no difference, but now I'm going to try out Folio.

I'm going to try one more thing after my next full charge, and that's use the stock LG OS instead of Nova Prime. I'm wondering if maybe that's the culprit? My battery usage stats never seem to show anything out of the ordinary :/

I feel like my battery life is terrible, I leave my house with 100% and by the time I get to work, a little under 1:30 later I'll be at around 65%-70% while streaming music and reading articles. Not all screen on time, but most of it. Maybe I have a lot of background processes running :-\

I've tried that too. Got rid of nova and used LG stock. Didn't make any difference. I'm just getting from 2 to 3 hours of sot.

Mine has been a massive improvement over the V10. I don't even sweat Pokemon Go sessions anymore.
