I decided for fun I would take a picture with the inside camera to see for myself how bad it is. I can't believe how bad it was, this picture would never work for Facebook or conference calls.
But are you taking pictures with the inside screen that needs to be better for social media?Actually, in Conference Calls, it looks just fine. I use it almost daily for Zoom/Teams calls (and even some Slack Calls) without anyone noticing anything going on. I have used it for work calls and personal and no one can tell it's the inside camera.
Now, when taking a PICTURE, I think that is totally different.

I get it that samsung needs to improve the camera. I think they need to be focused on the front screen camera and rear camera. The inside maybe a little. I think it's a little awkward taking a picture with it open. I played around with it today and I can agree there is a difference on the inside pictures. The background was a little fuzzy. They probably should do a 10 MP on the inside screen, but I still maintain it's good enough for Facebook selfies.
For selfies, which are really rare for me, I use the front screen cam when closed. That is more than good enough for me. I don't even think about the inside cam (which, in all honesty, can be removed) for anything other than calls because it works.
With you on this. I think the under screen camera is a good compromise. Do you know if there's a limitation to the megapixel for under screen camera setup? For selfies, which are really rare for me, I use the front screen cam when closed. I get there's that use for the inner camera. I don't use it at all, so I think the under screen camera is a great thing, a good compromiseYup, I am with you totally on this setup. But the inner screen i do use for video conference often and that is all I used.
