Installing Flash 10.1 on the Optimus S?

Just wanted to list my experience with this. Last week I installed and loved it as I immediately noticed I had access to certain images and videos I didn't before. However I uninstalled last night because of internet lagging and the fact that it force closed certain times on sites I know for 100% fact worked fine before installing this flash player. Its actually about 70% the reason I just upgraded devices.

In opera mobile (not mini), I go to the regular YouTube website, it still says "You need to upgrade your Abobe player to watch this video" In fact it just doesn't work in Opera Mobile. (I removed the stock browser from CM7)

flash makes my optimus s browser slow. So i tried flash 11 and thats even slower, it would be fine if i was connected to a wireless network all day but being in crappy 3g areas most of the time out side of my house and wanting to browse the net is horrible with flash on these phones.

So to answer your questions about lag... the stock browser automatically loads all flash items. Therefore, if you use Dolphin HD then set flash to prompt. That way it will only play flash that you tell it to.

Never understood why people were so enamored with Skyfire. It was the biggest browser privacy hole possible - everything you browsed had to go out to Skyfire's servers, get rendered, and come back to your device. Was being able to view an animation really worth that?
