As long as you don't activate the phone your data plan doesn't change.

To save you $3/mo., have you tried Google Hangouts? I've experienced zero problems. I had been using the Sipdroid app/GoogleVoice/pbxes.org combo to complement my 450 Verizon minutes, but Hangouts seems better, better bluetooth and no hangups after an hour like with my free pbxes.org account.

Just install the app if it's not already on your phone, and give it a try.

I just got my Upgrade Available for my UDP and I am able to buy a 2 year contract phone price on Verizon's website; however, Best Buy is better and a cheaper method.

My sister is thinking of upgrading ( completely different account) would you recommend transferring the upgrade from L2 (UDP) to L3 (basic line) getting new phone and trading phones with my sister or through BB just upgrading L2 and trading phones with sister. I am not sure if anyone could shed light on the safest method. ( I AM EXTREMELY NERVOUS)

L1: UDP iphone 6 plus CED 11/4/17
L2: UDP iphone upgrade eligible plus got hit with data fee
L3: Basic line 3/19/17

So on line 2 or you are already paying the extra $20 a month on the UDP you can upgrade with 2 year and use that phone without losing your UDP. Something new Verizon is doing.

If you still want to help you sister, yes just upgrade line 2 (no transfer needed) and trade phones.

You said you was already paying the extra $20 a month (I'm guessing that's what you meant by "already getting hit with data fee"). If that is true you will not lost your UDP. This is something new Verizon is doing.

It seems to me that the best phone to buy now for immediate resale is iPhone SE 64GB, right? If you see a phone with better margin, LMK, I have to buy by 9/11 to extend my contract.

I picked up in BB a few weeks ago, and at least that store they no longer activate in the store unless it is a new account. In fact I picked it up at the store pick up area, not even the cell phone area.

If you are paying the extra $20 an a Verizon UDP you can do an 2 year contract upgrade buying a subsidized phone and keep your UDP without doing any kind of tricks, or loop holes etc...

Line 3 - TDP Month to month - Upgrade Eligible
Line 4 - Basic - Contract end 3/31/17
Line 5 - Basic - Month to month - Upgrade Eilgible

I would like to get new iPhone 7s on both UDP lines. One line is 29.99 and the other is 24.99 for UDP. Can I do this without selling a phone? Options?
