Interesting speedtest results, OnePlus 8 5G vs Note 10 on T-Mobile.

So I just got a OnePlus 8 5G from T-Mobile yesterday. I did a few speedtests compared to my Note 10+ (non-5G). Each time the OnePlus 8 was 10-15mbps slower than the Note.

T-Mobile is piggybacking 5G on top of 4G LTE for now (600MHz).
Be great when they use what they got from Sprint (2.5GHz).

When I 1st got my 8 5g was slower then 4g but in the last weeks its been turned up and faster then my home service.

Still spoty in town and it drops out as your driving but at home great!

I have an OnePlus 8 Pro and Samsung Note 10+ (non-5g). The 8 Pro is faster and works better the 10+. I guess it depends on where you live if 5G is faster than 4G.
