Intermittent Touchscreen Lock Up

Droid X2

I just bought the x2 also. Mine has done the same thing from time to time. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the new screen put in this phone?

I've been using the Droid X2 since last Thursday, and it has frozen several times, with neither the touch screen nor the physical buttons working. I had to remove the battery and reinstall it to restart the phone. I am considering returning the phone before Verizon's 2 week trial period is up, but if other current models are having this problem, will I just have to live with it?

chalk me up as another with touchscreen random garbage. got it today, touchscreen has been locking up consistently. hard reset from recovery menu too... suppose i'll hit Verizon for a new one, stick with the Incredible for now.

EDIT: Went to VZW Store today, got mine swapped out. New one works fine, not an issue yet.
Guy told me you get one in-store replacement within first 14 days... after that they gotta get one shipped in for ya. So for those having the issue, keep this in mind.
