Intermittent voice problem

Has anyone come across a situation where when using the phone for calling, - during the call your voice disappears in the recipients hearing for a short time, comes back and then goes again, whereas you can hear their voice without interruption?

Apps/Phone/Storage/Clear Cache? Apps/Phone/Storage/Clear Data?

Or should I be looking elsewhere?

That could also be a signal issue. We live in an area with some weak signal spots, and that's exactly what happens

I do not think it is signal issue as the area being used in is OK on other mobiles.

Sometimes in a weak signal area I'll hear an echo on my end. But again this only happens in a known poor signal area.

I have had some lousy luck with voice on cell phones. I tend to blame it on connections, tower distance and/or strength blah blah blah. But I don't seem to be having this same problem w/my new Flip 3

I was doing some research on the flip 3 last night because I was toying with the idea of picking one up.... and I watched a video from one of the better known YouTube tech reviewers (sorry don't remember his name right now) who had the exact same problem with the mic on his flip...he had to return it.
