Internal storage: 1 gig or 2 gigs?

I have gone to several different websites to check out the phone specs and I believe most or all of them say it has 2 gigs of internal storage. However, I have seen quite a few reviews state that it only has 1 gig (which is still plenty more than my Optimus V). I just want a definitive answer before I pick up this phone in a couple of weeks.

1 gig all the apps i have say internal storage 1 gig.

It probably was 2, then you have to put in account the os and system files are also on the internal memory. So a gig its what is left over, which is more than enough imo.

Well, then that's like the OV. The total storage on that is around 180 mb, but once you count the pre-installed files, you may only have somewhere around half of that.

HMMMM my OV has 139 megs left, and I have 111 apps installed

The Android OS and accompanying files (ringtones, stock apps) are stored on a separate partition. The Triumph has about 1.09 gb of space for downloaded apps and such.

I have 550mb left on my MT with 209 apps installed, none on SD card

I don't know how that is possible, when I only have 30 something apps and I only have a little more than 20 megs left.

A lot depends on what rom your running. I'm running ath3nos cm7 port and with 30 downloaded (not including pre-installed) apps I've got 112mb free. I also have most everything on the SD card too though. I don't know how he's got 139 free after 111 apps though.
