Inventory Query - Verizon Stores Well Stocked?

The only reason I worry about Verizon, is that I'm scared the place will be jam packed with people trying to resign contracts and activate their phones and all of this. I just want to pick mine up, take it to the register, and pay. So I'm hoping BB would be faster and they'd let me do that without having to wait in a line on other stuff.

Talked to a rep at the store near me and he said they have 80 Xs but he still recommended getting there early. 7 a.m it is!

Just got off the phone with my local Verizon store(Scranton PA) and they are only expecting 25!!! That is an insanely low number. Glad i did the pre order at best buy

FYI for Independence, Missouri store... just got off the phone and ALL the units at the store are being held for people renewing and/or upgrading their phones. I am not eligible for my "New Every 2" (won't come up till July of 2011 and none of the other phones on my account are up either!) - so I have to pay full price and would not be able to purchase a phone at that store. I was told to order the Droid X online and I would get it Friday. The guy said it was a new policy they are trying out at that store.
