My grandmother passed away in October 2018. At the time I had an iPhone and sent a video to 3 family members who all still have it but can't view it. They have sent it to me but I can't view it either. I acquired an android phone in October 2019 and my WhatsApp unfortunately was restarted. I really need the video though. Stupidly didn't back it up. Have you any advice please. Appreciation in advance x

If you had iCloud photos on to sync you could try going to iCloud.com, sign in with the AppleID you used on your iPhone, and see if it's there.

When you try to view it what happens? Have you tried moving the video to a computer? Finally, what iPhone was it you had? If it's a newer iPhone it might be because it is in the newer HEVC format which not all Android phones support yet. If that's the case you should be able to transfer the video to a computer, and change the format to make it playable on your Android phone.
