iPhone 4 to Galaxy S4

I have a friend that is making the switch from an iPhone 4, or possibly 4s, to the Galaxy S4. What steps does she need to take to make this transition as easy as possible? Thanks in advance!

I think the biggest think is with iMessage. I can't recall exactly what, but disabling it and/or having their friends with iPhones change it over to SMS will help.
