Probably a good idea when iOS does things one way and Android has a million ways to do it.
A million ways? Bluetooth audio is 100% universal.

Actually, there were 5 major BT protocols over the years, and uncounted minor variations. Every manufacturer is free to take the standard and implement only what parts they want and tweak others. The production and dragging lead times mean they're 2 or 3 years out of date the day they get released, and since cars and the like don't get firmware updates except in the rarest cases, they'll never catch up or get patched.A million ways? Whatever. Every car and phone I've owned over the past 6 years have worked identically.
