IRIS Scanner is actually pretty cool and works great.

It works good, just have to hold it at the right angle which is inconvenient for me

Coming from the Lumia 950xl, the iris scanner is really fast on the note 7 and as someone mentioned, there were times it just unlocked before I can even see the line up eyes screen, but having to swipe up to use it, the finger print is just quicker to use.

I agree it works well. I don't use it for much, though. I have my phone unlock when in proximity to my Gear Fit 2, and don't really have anything to drop in the secure folder.

It doesn't seem to work well for me. I have to hold the phone too close.and even then it's hit or miss. Faster to use fingerprint or pattern/pin.

Works okay but i seem to have to reset my phone daily. I sometimes says proximity sensor is dirty or i am holding too close for no reason. anybody have this happen?

mine asks for iris scanner once in a while. is there a setting to make sure it asks me at all times? maybe it is set to certain time like after 2 minutes of not touching the phone etc

The iris scanner technology is good, but I don't see the need for it on phones. It just seems like a feature that will use more battery than the equally useful and faster fingerprint sensor.

Glad to hear this feedback, especially with regards to glasses since I wear them too. I'm looking forward to trying it out

I love the iris scanner and I thought I would rarely use it. Many times it's unlocked my phone by accident (in a good way), I go to hold the phone at a better angle so I can re-try a fingerprint, and it catches my eye and unlocks. I've also already found it handy if I have dirty hands.

Being a person with dry skin, fingerprint readers have no love for me. Sometimes they work, sometimes not.

The iris scanner fast - often immediate - and extremely consistent.
I almost never use the fingerprint reader.

Billy, if that avatar is your picture you might have a problem with your eyes also. :p

I'm a fan as well. When I first set it up it was super sunny out and it wouldn't read indoors. Set it up again at home and it works great now. As someone else said, we all have our own"eye phones " now.

It actually works so good sometimes it unlocks before i even realize.......They executed it well on this phone....if they update it to start scanning when the screen wakes and get rid of the swipe that would make it even better

I just set mine up last night. Worked with glasses and in a darker room. Was very fast.
