Is anyone else missing the SmartThings Audio Output persistent notification?

since the drop down audio output didn't come up on my phone after i connect bluetooth last night even after i open smart things app and exit which usually does instead me tootle on and off that notification to see might appear drop down on phone

i kindof went into storage and clear data making no notifications however when i went back to ddp app while bluetooth was on the other 2 came up and again usually i wait few mins audio output will come up or after i restart phone and wait but apprently not coming back up not sure why

so now i'm in a limbo and from what waqqas said about when he went into ui 4.1 it disappear on him but i still had it after went into 4.1 i don't know if even i uninstall and reinstall app if that audio output notification will actually come back up or doesn't exist 4.1

The app is on the phone? I need you to go settings>apps>smart things tap>notifications tap>notifications categories tap what do u see ?

So you went to exactly where I mentioned it doesn't have audio notifications, not in the app itself settings ?

You tried uni uninstalling and then reinstalling again smart things ?

I understand you are seeing the notification category for Audio Output, but does it actually show up in your notification shade?

just to confirm the word audio output notification isn't never going to come up on phone anymore drop down meaning even if i were uninstall and reinstall smart things which prob just be their update since smart things app is inside samsung folder thing along with other samsung stuff

Your screenshot looks like how mine does , I'm not sure for yoga app as I don't use one and don't know if that could be part of smart things

you do know what i do right all i do just go to smart view aka cast my phone to tv the click on ddp app turn on bluetooth

even if i don't cast and open up app the word audio output notification would actually be drop down on phone that will default to sound tv or change to phone sound when bluetooth is turn on again if i don't see that word come up then i would just open up smart thing and close it out since i don't have nothing connected smart things

so just want to confirm is word audio drop output supposed to still display when you connect bluetooth any app if drop down phone or no longer saids that regardless if you just cast phone to tv aka smart view and you click on like app music or something like ddp yoga

i just want to know because if word audio output should still be there drop down on phone then i guess i need to uninstall and reinstall get it back up if doesn't exist no need to install and uninstall smart things

Right, the Media Output is there, but the Audio Output is gone and likely never coming back.

I know they are functionally equivalent (more or less) but the Audio Output notification just looked so much better and natively part of the OS.

I see I don't follow the smart thing specs what was there and not anymore so guess it's gone .

have you try to uninstall and reinstall see if audio output notification will appear again in smart things notifications samsung is adament in chat wanting me to install and reinstall smart things after i clear data made audio output go away

just because when i turn on blue tooth last click on that ddp app i didn't see audio output word notification come up on drop down phone before i smart view phone to tv and i clear data but so afraid if i will fall in the problem your facing again i was lucky to see have that audio output notification in notification category when went into ui 4.1 last friday i kindof wished i just tooggle on and off see come up on phone or not instead clear data in smart things app

in past ui's on android 12 i would always did this like in ui 3.0 if i don't see audio output come up or it's there but not appearing if i can't make it come up open smart connection app and close app aka exit

i had to go into ddp app then play something after turn on bluetooth then back to smart things apps notifications and then i see in notification category smart things general and smart things notifications but audio outout wouldn't come up i either wait or restart phone then go back smart thing notifications then it will appear

so i'm clueless why ain't coming up in 4.1 and very scare to uninstall and install smart thing app because am not sure that notification is actually gone 4.1 or not even if do get it back what if i do bluetooth and go to ddp app i do click on phone drop down word audio output won't appear do same thing it did last night it be waste of time despite i got it come up smart thing notification category ya know

maybe we should just wait see when next smart things update will bring it back i don't know

Yes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the cache partition, and all that good stuff, but to no avail.

I've just accepted that the Audio Output menu is not coming back... stinks, but there's little that can be done ...

well thank you for doing it however i'm sure you still got smart things notifications and general notifications in category

i did talk to a samsung he will talk to support maybe bring back in next smart thing update

just can't believe i clear it yesterday and can't seem to get it back 4.1 like i used to for in example ui 3.0 dangit

i'm somewhat ignore the fact that 1 of those smart things updates last year i think from google play store i remember i was made to have to sign into my samsung account in order to continue with app not sure what version it was
