Is anyone else missing the SmartThings Audio Output persistent notification?

i actually think i know why i still had at the time audio output notification under smart things app notifications is because smart things app updated back on according to google apps under manage apps and games while i was still in feb system update number 25 ui 3.1? i will say 4.0 but i think that was skip to 4.1 if i'm not mistaken was update back on 12th

because the version i have is what you have 1.7.8.3.2.1 now verizon website actually put 4.1 on 22nd and i waited until it came up software update came up on my phone last friday on 25th around 12:30 am

so basically in a nutshell from you situation whatever day both of your phones went into ui 4.1 and yesterday the smart things app actually update on your phone to the same version i have

now things are coming full circle because what i did tues apprently i already had app updated back on 22 was carried over from 3.1 to 4.1 when updated last friday however in your case wasn't so lucky since while you were in 4.1 and yesterday updated that new smart thing app it made disappear

and me being a dummy because the audio output they was showning underneath my phone after turn on blue tooth now i'm not sure if when you turn on blue tooth if the audio output word would had actually come up on drop down on phone or after you connect it to a device then comes up

then you can do whatever like smart view phone to a tv for an example again i just don't understand why i did that mon it came up just fine i saw notification despite that i went i open smart things app and exit swipe away it was there the name audio output phone drop down


tues night i thought that it will come up without actually open smart things app and exit didn't see that word at all drop down on phone i did that same thing thinking might come up never did and i was a dummy a dummy thinking old way would work clear data smart things it will appear again like ui 3.1 will prob take few mins after general notifications and smart things notifications come up category but never did i thought well no problem restart nada

bottom line is yes it is gone in 4.1 and i don't know if smart things folks will actually bring the audio output back in their april update whenever that will be since friday is the 1st

i can't believe i just figure this out why i at the time still had it and you didn't when you updated app yesterday after whatever day you went into 4.1 now i understand what you are saying and what 2 folks were saying reddit in this thread

Thank you for your time and patience.

On investigating the issue with the higher end informed us that the audio bar was removed by design a few app updates ago. You should now be able to control the Media Output by scrolling down from the top of the phone, selecting media output, and then selecting the desired device.

This feature will also work with Smart View. This should still use the same number of taps as it did previously with the added benefit of always remaining at the top of the screen when opening the notification view.

I was able to get it back by downgrading to version 1.7.77.22. I noticed it was gone earlier today. This way looks so much better.
