Is anyone on Project Fi yet?

You can sign up for Fi now and get a new temporary number, and port your Verizon number on 8/29

This is what I'm doing. Testing fi out this month and then I'm suspending service until the end of September when my contact is up with Verizon. Then I'm porting my number and saying goodbye to Verizon after about 15 years.

It really seems random. I signed up right away on 4/23 and my status is YOU CAN EXPECT YOUR INVITE IN 12 WEEKS OR MORE. Then I decided to sign up with a secondary account that was not linked to my current Google Voice account on May 1st The status for my secondary account is EXPECT YOUR INVITE IN 4 TO 8 WEEKS.

I got my invite today! I signed up on day 3 (4/25 or so), and it said '4 to 8 weeks' yesterday. So the estimates are really not accurate. Maybe i was moved to the head of the queue because i kept checking it. ;)

I received my invite on Tuesday (7/21), as well. I didn't sign up until 4/24/15 and I'm in the DC area.

I really wanted the invite on another account, so I'm trying to make up my mind on what to do now.

Asking them to move the invite to another Gmail account brings you to the back of the line - 12 weeks in my case.

My issue was that the Google Voice number I had with my Gmail A was used as a "land-line" with OBiHai device so I didn't want to loose it.
So instead of waiting for the invite for my Gmail B I moved my Google Voice number to Gmail B and signed up with my original invite.

You can call them and ask to have it transfered to the other account. Both accounts need to be in your control and they will deactivate the first invite. My transfer took a very, very long week. (I signed up under the account I use for financial matters/bill paying, then realized I should have signed up under the account that I use on my phone. Got the invite for the bill paying account first.) Welcome to Fi. Join the Google+ Project Fi Community when your invite comes through.

Thanks to you both. I just looked at something else on the account that I did receive the invite on (I requested on both accounts). Since Project Fi is asking to use the GMail account that you will use for billing purposes, I will use this one instead of the second one. Now, the problem that I will run into is that my Google Wallet account is on a third GMail account.

I started these different GMail accounts for different purposes but new Google products are throwing off how I had everything planned. I'm not complaining at all; it's just an interesting problem to have.

You can create Google Wallet on another account, the one you were invited on.

Thanks. I actually already had one on there that I forgot about. I updated my payment information so all I should need to do now is to transfer my GV number to another GMail account. Hopefully, I don't continue to make this harder than it has to be!

Is everyone on Fi still getting the free swag? I don't have a need, but it would be nice to try the service and get some neat accessories.

Just checked my status of when im getting my invite, I have 6 accounts. All of them changed today from 12 weeks or more to, 2-3 weeks and 1-2 weeks, very exciting...

I got my invite maybe 2-3 weeks ago and got the welcome kit and phone last Thursday. Greetings from Lahaina-ish, Maui.

Horrible reception and speed in full green area

My phone is activated couple of days ago and so far very disappointing compared to AT&T. fi support was awesome until I'm activated. Then I called them about the performance issue and they were clueless. I live and work in full LTE area (Tampa airport area, FL) of fi. The support person keep saying it's my area. She was looking at the map and telling me what she's seeing which I can do myself :) I'm sure this person is clueless. Even at home on my wifi network, I sometime go 'No Service' mode. ookla speed test shows unbelievable performance difference compared to AT&T on my way from home to work through Hway 589. ookla shows it's through t-mobile. I know these area's t-mobile have excellent speed because my friends have t-mobile. Anyone else have the issue?netspeedcomparison.jpg

I have my invite, but it seems like google fi will never get any 64gb nexus 6's back in stock. I'm waiting but I need the 64gb version not the 32. Anyone know if they'll ever get more 64gb phones in?

Are you looking for the financing plan? If not, they are available through the Google Store (as the Fi support person pointed out to me).
