No Nexus 6 is technically locked, so yes they would all work. I hear AT&T Sim locks their Nexus 6 (somehow), but it still supports Fi, once the sim lock is removed. Will the carrier locked Nexus 6 (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile) work with Project Fi or do we need the unlocked version?
So for anyone who has successfully gotten onto Fi...does group mms work in full?
An unfortunate caveat that I have since discovered and need to double check with you...does it work in Hangouts (giving hope to all Google Voice users that we might get it) or is it only in the new Google Messenger app?
Thanks for replying
Group messaging works via Hangouts as SMS. Group messages hang as "sending" whenever I try to send it via MMS.An unfortunate caveat that I have since discovered and need to double check with you...does it work in Hangouts (giving hope to all Google Voice users that we might get it) or is it only in the new Google Messenger app?

The more important question is whether it works after enabling the optional Hangouts integration that gives you multi-device access. That is the component that is currently missing when talking about Google Voice. Because using the Hangouts app as a standard messaging app (meaning that device only) works fine for group MMS.
And this is with the optional hangouts integration enabled?Group messaging works via Hangouts as SMS. Group messages hang as "sending" whenever I try to send it via MMS.

Will group MMS work via other texting apps like Textra?
