Well, a lot of middle aged and older ppl have changing vision, not so few.
Right, with money to spend on phones.Point well taken, Mrs. Mumbles. I forgot about the baby boomers, for instance, who make up an important chunk of the population.
I'm one of them. But still: My pockets are only so big, and I'm unwilling to carry a murse or strap on a fanny pack just to carry a phone.Well, a lot of middle aged and older ppl have changing vision, not so few.
Lol, you just got me to laugh, I don't know if I've heard that before (murse!).I'm one of them. But still: My pockets are only so big, and I'm unwilling to carry a murse or strap on a fanny pack just to carry a phone.
Personally I think some of it's a bragging rights game by manufacturers and (some? many?) buyers. "Hey look at how big my screen is and how many pixels my screen has!"
But there's a lot of truth to what you're saying. As a home phone I like a big phone but for carrying with me I like my Nexus 5 or even smaller. Just so I worry less about dropping it.

I'm a computer scientist and I enjoy big screens if they have good resolutions.
On small screens the items get's too small and you more often have to zoom in to press on something on a website or similar.
Don't underestimate the power of the Dark SideThat's what iPhone 6+'s bigger screen is all about. Stealing that demographic from Samsung and other "phablet" providers. They're a little late.![]()
Lol, yes! I'd bet a huge segment of that demographic has been buying Note series phones. The nice thing about those is they still have SD slots and removable battery. I'd say that tends to extend the life of a device far beyond the first two years as long as the owner doesn't drop the device a lot. It offers a decent value for the high price. That's one benefit of Samsung devices. So probably the older crowd would additionally value those things. Unless a person is obsessed with status, there's no great reason to buy an iPhone. That's what iPhone 6+'s bigger screen is all about. I won't--I swear! And if I'm to take your terrifying thumbnail pic at face value, your something of an authority on the subject.Don't underestimate the power of the Dark Side![]()
