Is it still worth getting (mid March 2016)

As someone who owns both the 6s+128 and the 6p 128, the real difference is negligible in the overall sphere. The 6p has no equivalent when it come to smoothness of multi-tasking and it's battery life is really good, under very heavy use. I can easily cross the day, without any issue. Let's break it down

Multi-tasking- Really good. Camera - controls are a bit slow, but the image quality and lowlight is still up there (s7 only beats it marginally), video is kinda janky without OIS but nothing too bad. Battery life is really good, voice and LTE work without issues.

Their nexus fingerprint reader is probably the best in the business.

I have no problems recommending it to people. Still one of the best Android devices available today and probably the best overall bang for the buck.

Also agree with hylex above in that the fingerprint reader is the best I have used. I used to think Touch ID on my old iPhone 6 was fast, but after a few minutes with the Nexus 6P, I found it was not. But I have to give Samsung credit in that their fingerprint reader is MUCH improved on the S7 Edge.

i bought a nexus 6p a week ago (coming from a Galaxy s6 edge) ..i have to say, i will never buy bloatware phones again. Even if it has the greatest processors and all that extra stuff, clean android is way better experience.:cool:

You know, this sounds like a little bit of a cliche, but it's really true for me. I picked up a S7 for my wife (well, two.. BOGO FTW) and have had a chance to play around with it for quite a bit. Now, the S7 has been warmly received by the industry as a wonderful phone. And I will agree that it seems to be the best Android phone ever made... by an OEM. :)

But this is usually how the progression goes : As you can imagine, I read a lot of articles and posts about how the S7 is the awesome and such and I start to wonder about it... then I bust out my spare S7 or do something on my wife's and give it a look-see... but after using it for a few minutes, I am reminded of just why I DON'T have a S7 and then happily, without hesitation, put it away and pick my 6P back up.
