So finally got the Kindle Fire today woohoo. I rooted it with Windows which did not work so I used the Mac root program and it worked perfectly. When I boot up the Kindle though it shows a yellow triangle with a flame in the center for maybe 20 seconds, then boots up normally, shows the Kindle Fire logo etc right after.

I've been hunting online but I can't seem to tell if it's supposed to do this as all I can find are people stuck on this logo. I'm not stuck though it just shows it at each boot. I just want to make sure I'm not in some kind of safe mode or something?

edokid,

The yellow triangle is your best friend. If you ever hose the ROM, then the yellow triangle is what will let you boot back in and try again. So on a rooted Kindle, yes, you want to see that triangle each and every time you boot the Kindle Fire up.

Great thanks! Just wanted to make sure that it wasn't running in some kind of safe mode.

The yellow triangle logo is the boot image displayed that notifies you when you can enter recovery by pushing the power button. [YT]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-zTJWY3CRc&feature=plcp&context=C47d20a0VDvjVQa1PpcFNrWLOCnoBOn9yvtOgK57MW_05Sihwfgn0%3D[/YT]
