Is it worth changing from, Google pay to Samsung pay ?

Heres my Samsung Pay points history. Several months I'd earned bonuses

I'm at 12,000+. I haven't been really keeping track. I just use Samsung Pay because it is freakin' convenient and more secure than actually using my card. I have had issues with certain readers not liking it; however, after rebooting my phone, it seemed to work again.
The last one that gave my phone trouble was Chipotle. Usually no issues like you've said. This terminal was on the side of the monitor built in. Those work they just usually take a time or two. Position of the phone is key as well.

Use AP every day. Haven't seen an old magnetic swipe terminal in over 10 years.

Still only 6 or so small banks supporting it here. No market for it I presume.

Only advantage would be not having NFC on I guess.

Can you use pay your Samsung linked perks credit card with Samsung linked debit card triple dipping the same dollar?

Where do you live. I see the strip terminals almost everywhere. I see NFC terminals very sparingly. And I live in a major metro area. My hope is these merchants upgrade their terminals faster.

Edinburgh.
Chip and Pin mandatory in the UK for over 10 years.

Here, chip and pin is almost non-existent. Chip and signature is most common, but most of those also accept stripe cards.

I have both set up on my phone. Use Samsung Pay more, but Android pay comes in handy paying for things on some sites or apps

Yes, it is. Samsung Pay is far more acceptive than Google pay. This is mainly because Samsung pay not only does online transactions like GPay but also uses MST (a hardware present in Samsung flagships) that helps completing transactions even at places which do not have Android pay enabled CC machines. It creates a magnetic field to act as a real credit card. Plus you get benefit of Samsung rewards.
