Personally, both the Note 5 and the S6 include 2 deal breakers for me - no external SD card and no removable battery.

Modular phones are starting to appear. If I were looking for a new one, I'd wait and see who comes out with what.

I thought that too, coming from the note 4 I had 128gb micro installed "which caused lag". I couldn't resist the note 5 so I ended creating an extra folder on my wd cloud and sync everything with that. I also bought an extra wireless charger for work and power bank for the road.

Note 5 is a great phone but does have its flaws and share of defects running around.

I don't think there is a better phone right now.

Call quality is decent

Definitely better than the note 3

Battery life socks, but with the amazing fast charge coming to the rescue it manages good enough.
(I normally wait until the battery gets to 15% to charge, but have found my self commonly charging this phone earlier so it is working later)

The Note 5 is amazing! I thought about switching a few times but the stylus, the big screen, camera along with fast charging keeps me hooked!
