Is light bleed normal?

I got a Samsung tab 4 8.0 as a promotion deal. It seems to work fine, but as I sat in my bedroom with the lights off to watch a movie in landscape mode I found a yellow glow from the bottom right (in landscape). It is about the size of a half a quarter and decently yellow at full brightness. It is not visible in a well lit room.
Is this a fairly normal issue or should I send it in for repair? I tend to be overly OCD about this kind of thing.

Welcome to Android Central! Light bleed is fairly common to some degree, especially as you start going lower in price range. The Tab 4's are essentially Samsung's budget line, so I'm not surprised. I doubt warranty would cover it unless it were egregious.
