Is LTE 4g or 3G?

I want to turn off 4g and use only 3G. The only 2 choices are EHRPD and LTE. Is LTE 3G or 4g?

What network are you on? Here's what I'm using. Primarily 4G but it switches to 3G when it needs to

You can easily switch between 3/4G.

I'm using EHRPD now. However, I've used both and 4G continues to come on. I know on my past android phones I could turn off 4G permanently. Doesn't look like we can do that with the SG3.

Verizon removed the ability to switch to 3G only in their recent LTE phones. Just download the app Phone Info (mentioned above by another poster) and switch to CDMA auto (PRL) to keep it from using LTE.
