Is my phone broken?

When you lightly tap your phone on the back, or put it on a hard surface, do you hear something like a buzzing noise in the phone like some screw is loose? My phone makes that faint noise and I'm not sure if something is loose on the inside or if it's just like that.

If your talking about tapping up near the camera on the back? Yes I get that slight buzzing noise. Moving further down towards the bottom it gets solid.

So your answer.. I think its normal..

Yea it's only when I tap near the camera/center. Okay, thanks for confirming.

Whew....I find that if I beat mine against the wall, it makes some weird noises as well, bet its probably normal though! :-D

On a serious note, I don't have that sound.

When you tap the top thats the vibrator moving.

I'm too lazy to look up the very old thread about this but I think it was concluded that if you tap in the right place, IIRC just below the camera lens, you will hear buzzing from the spring used for autofocusing the lens. Normal.
