Is my Samsung Galaxy 8+ comparable with my 2012 Honda Civic

Am trying to pair my Samsung Galaxy 8+ using the Bluetooth Hands-free link system. Any step by step instructions would be great. [email removed]

You will really have to check with your dealer and Honda on specific instructions for your Civic. There is also a good chance you will need a firmware update for your system to be compatible with the newer cellphones.

My S8 connects with my 2011 Honda CRV's Handsfree Link just fine. Here's a link.

I have a '12 Civic Si...the handsfree link works fine..but since getting the newer Samsung phones the song titles don't show when listening to music.

I assume it does need a firmware update for the actual system..but I haven't gone to the actual dealership to ask..perhaps I should

I don't have any experience with streaming through my Handsfreelink system. The version I have does not support it.

My S8 does pair and stream flawlessly to my wife's 2106 Outback though. No issues.
