Bricked Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

I wanted to update the firmware on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (N-8010 Model), I downloaded the new firmware and Odin and followed the steps and rooted the device. However I think I may have rooted it with the firmware for the N-8000 Model. Now the unit is stuck on the screen.. Downloading... Do Not disconnect.... I have tried to run Odin with the correct firmware it now tell me that it has FAILED. Try resetting the unit by pressing the power and volume keys and the only thing it will do is go into Odin mode. Is there any way to just resent the unit to factory / reformat and load the proper firmware?

It was KitKat Firmware, cannot get into recovery mode can only get into Oldin mode.

So did you find a solution? I am having the same issue with my GT-N8013. It was working on opera, and just stop working. I Can do anything else unless go to download mode. Can't go to recovery mode .And i can flash it , oddin shows me "PASS" but after flash, it always remain to boot loop....
So any news ?

When I was stuck in a Bootloop the first time flashing firmware on my Note 10.1, I was told to hold down the power button for like 10 seconds. It should reboot then and get out of the bootloop. When I was stuck in Odin mode with the Android guy and it kept saying do not disconnect, after about 10 minutes, I just did the same thing I just mentioned. I just held down the Power button for a long time until reboot. I always came out of it. Not sure if you put the wrong device Root on, but I don't think it matters for Rooting. Don't quote me on that though. They say in the directions when flashing Firmware, to try to find the right one for your device. This I learned by reading XDA forums a lot before proceeding. If having trouble and these options I gave you don't work, I suggest trying to ask in one of the threads on the XDA forum for the Note 10.1 where they have directions for loading the ROMs and Flashing Firmware and Rooting. Helped me immensely. Hope that helps.
