hello my name is Nick and im new here.
so I just received my amaze 4g, and I noticed that there are some kind of light lines going across the screen that can only be seen on light displays (white colours). Once i turned off my screen I noticed a square grid pattern in certain angles. Is my lcd messed up or this normal? kind of making me nervous

Hi Nick, welcome aboard the forum. If you are not satisfied with your phone screen display...then return it for a replacement. You're the one who's going to be looking at it everyday.

Happy Holiday. :)

just wanted to know if this grid pattern was normal. dont want to return it to get the same thing again

just checked a telus store at two other amaze devices and it had the same pattern. Looks like its the multitough grid or something. Seems like its made this way. Look closer at it in a light and in different angles.shows a lot on white screens and when the screen is locked

Hey folks.
I'm new in the forums and I just got my Amaze 4g.

I think I'm seeing the same thing you guys are.
11 blue/purple vertical lines with the dark square patterns.

If this is normal, does anyone know what this is?
This is the first time I'm seeing it on any phone LCDs

i've only checked for it when it's locked.

anyone here have an idea what's the purpose of this grid pattern in the lcd?
