Is Optimus T same as Optimus One from Korea?

I have my father's Optimus One from Korea. It is written in the back, LG SU370. I can't find any website that is stating that they are the same thing. I can't find any dev site in Korea(tried Google).

I was wondering if it would be safe to flash custom recovery and rom for Optimus T on SU370.

They are different devices. If you try with other ROMs, you will find yourself in trouble. If you are new to rootings and replacing roms, play safe. I?d recommend ROM Manager for any Android root user.
